K’Werk Art & Design School: 2017 program with concertina fold.
With 26 classes and workshops, 39 photographs and logos, 19 short biographies, a calendar and directions to the school all on one sheet, this is how one can minimize wasted trim. The technical term for this finishing is known as a concertina fold, or zig-zag, accordion or z-fold — a continuous parallel folding of a flat sheet in an accordion-like fashion, with folds alternatively made to the front and back in zig-zag formation. Because they do not nest (as in letter folds), panels can be all the same size and the type can be placed close to the fold. This style of fold is rather unusual and when applied can be quite the eyecatcher.

K’Werk: 2013 Image Brochure.
KWerk is an art and design school for children and young adults between the ages of 6 to 16. It offers students a solid foundation much like the established music schools of Switzerland.
The new brochure introduces KWerks philosophy and educational process, which portraits of current and former students and how their classes help them to develop their careers in art and design.
The brochure was intentionally designed with modest means, serving as a tool for acquiring financial support as well as providing information for partner institutions. The brochure is also intended to appeal to parents and encourages them to enroll their children in KWerks program.
